On Youth Day, we took over Battery Park at the V&A Waterfront with the intention of inspiring the next generation of graffiti artists. As part of the event, we set up two interactive art zones designed to introduce young artists to the world of graffiti and street art.

 

In the ‘Chalk Zone’, kids got to unleash their imagination, using colorful chalk to transform the ground into a canvas. Meanwhile, the ‘Sketch Zone’ provided printouts of walls, encouraging kids to experiment with applying art on the photographed walls using markers.

 

Our goal is to spark a love for graffiti art and inspire the next generation of graffiti artists. By giving young creatives a space to play, experiment, and express themselves, we’re planting the seeds for a future where graffiti and street art is thriving.
